As an Image Editing and Controls Product Manager, you'll be at the forefront, defining the vision and strategy for our next generation of image editing and transformation capabilities. You'll lead the development of intuitive tools that make this technology accessible, unlocking a world of creative possibilities and shaping the way we create and interact with visual content.

The role
Product managers at Google DeepMind identify and deliver on opportunities to apply cutting-edge research to products and infrastructure across Google and Alphabet, and that are used by millions of people. Working at Alphabet scale gives us a unique set of opportunities, allowing us to apply our research beyond the lab towards global and complex problems.
In this role, you will develop a strong understanding of the editing and control technology landscape and translate product opportunities and complex technical concepts into clear, actionable product plans. You will build excitement about the potential of image editing and controllability technologies and drive their adoption across developer and consumer use cases.
Key responsibilities:
- Craft a compelling vision: Define the product strategy and roadmap for image editing and control capabilities, focusing on features that make visual content more accessible and useful across Google products.
- Drive product landings: Create product roadmaps and execute on them to bring this vision to life, collaborating closely with engineering and research teams.
- Influence technical roadmaps: Work alongside research and engineering teams to ensure that technical roadmaps support your product vision and priorities.
- Drive innovation: Lead the charge on brainstorming, conceptualizing, and prototyping novel creation experiences powered by image editing and control capabilities. You'll be constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible, exploring new ways to empower users and unlock creative potential.
- Champion quality: Define quality bars for image editing and control features and work with research and engineering teams to establish a robust evaluation framework.
About you
In order to set you up for success as a Product Manager at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related role.
- 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
In addition, the following would be an advantage:
- Track record of driving launches through complex stakeholder management.
- Ability to deliver products that drive customer success and market leadership.
- Previous experience working on ML/AI products.
