Product Manager, Product Growth

We’re looking for a Product Manager on the Product Growth team that will be responsible for driving strategies and initiatives aimed at expanding the user base, enhancing user engagement, and increasing revenue for our product. You will work closely with data analysts, UX designers, and the engineering team to plan and prioritize efforts to improve the customer experience across the customer onboarding process in order to ensure they experience value as quickly as possible. You’ll be working with our engineering team to break product deliverables into stories and tasks, and with our designers to help design solutions that solve our customer problems and contribute towards a world-class product. This role is based in the Vancouver office or remote within North America, and you will be reporting into the Director of Product Growth.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Growth Strategy Development: Define and execute growth strategies aligned with overall product objectives. Identify key areas for growth and develop actionable plans to achieve targets.
  • User Acquisition and Retention: Collaborate with marketing and acquisition teams to devise and implement user acquisition campaigns, leveraging various channels. Implement retention strategies to ensure sustained user engagement and reduce churn.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data analytics tools and metrics to assess user behavior, identify trends, and derive actionable insights. Translate data into strategies for product improvement and growth.
  • Experimentation and Optimization: Conduct A/B testing, experiments, and iteration cycles to optimize user experience, conversion funnels, and product features. Implement feedback loops to continuously improve product performance.
  • Feature Prioritization and Roadmapping: Work closely with development teams to prioritize features and enhancements that drive growth. Define product roadmaps based on market research, user feedback, and business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and other teams to align on growth initiatives, ensure smooth execution, and achieve collective goals.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth within the market landscape.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of growth initiatives. Regularly report on the performance of growth strategies, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • A post-secondary degree in computer science, business and/or engineering, or equivalent work experience and 4+ years of software product management experience
  • Successful track records on planning and running experiments in order to improve customer engagement and adoption.
  • Strong understanding of Growth frameworks, experiment execution, and strategy (Ie. Growth Reforge, CRO frameworks, A/B testing strategies, MVPs)
  • Experience developing products for marketing & sales customer bases
