THE ROLE

Lead the future of enterprise data storage by owning the multi-year product vision and strategy for Pure Storage’s innovative hardware portfolio. You will define differentiated, market-winning solutions and drive their full lifecycle, transforming customer challenges into business-critical outcomes. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Define and articulate a compelling, multi-year product strategy and vision for the Pure Storage hardware portfolio that delivers transformative customer value and market-leading differentiation.

  • Drive the entire hardware product lifecycle (concept, definition, launch, growth, and EOL), ensuring successful market adoption, and measurable business impact on revenue and customer satisfaction (e.g., NPS).

  • Serve as a primary liaison and executive champion in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and finance to foster alignment, drive complex prioritization, and communicate critical trade-off decisions.

  • Translate deep customer and competitive intelligence into actionable, innovative product requirements and a clear roadmap for the hardware portfolio.

  • Analyze market trends, customer usage data, and business performance KPIs to identify, justify, and capture new opportunities for portfolio growth and market share expansion.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven, hands-on leadership and expertise in enterprise hardware product management (e.g., storage systems, compute infrastructure, or related domains).

  • Demonstrated success with full product lifecycle ownership of enterprise hardware, including successful commercial launch and growth, and managing transitions/end-of-life.

  • Exceptional strategic and analytical capabilities, with a track record of translating complex business and technical inputs into a clear, focused, and impactful product roadmap.

  • Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders, motivate cross-functional teams, and articulate a compelling vision to external customers and partners.

  • Deep technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, storage environments, and relevant deployment models (e.g., on-prem, cloud, consumption models).

  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
