Location: 3520 Laird Road, Mississauga, ON, L5L 5Z7 (Hybrid - 2 days on-site, 3 days remote) 

Shift: Monday to Friday (9 am to 5 pm)  

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative individual to support the internal digital operation of our newest brand, Factor: a healthy, ready-to-heat meal delivery service.

The Product Operations Specialist will orchestrate the creation and management of digital assets interacted with daily by customers – including recipe copywriting and photography, menu content, and more. Reporting to the Product Manager, and as part of the Physical Product team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer-facing content is clear and correct, especially as we scale our product offering.

You will be working closely with our Culinary, Nutrition, and FSQA teams, establishing operational best practices and leading key quality initiatives.

What you will be doing:

  • Establish a high-quality working relationship with our content partners, building the processes and procedures required to manage recipe and menu creation, updates, and launches on a weekly basis. Play a key role in uploading, updating and activating weekly recipes and menus online. 
  • Be the Canadian admin for our internal recipe and menu content systems - including our customer content management and meal database tooling. You will be a local expert on operational processes, and will be responsible for maintaining accuracy across.
  • Manage the weekly global photo and copywriting briefing and approval process for our Factor R&D operation – acting as the point of contact for all things content.
  • Manage the relationship with our FSQA team to ensure that the online nutrition copy is accurate.
  • Conduct weekly menu checks online and in our internal tools to provide our customers view content that is engaging and easy to understand. 
  • Complete data and content clean-up tasks across our recipe database and customer content management system as needed.
  • Innovate product operational processes for efficiency to support growth and share learnings to support collaboration.
  • Main point of contact for the execution and implementation of short-term and long-term product operations-based projects.
  • Main point of contact for proposing solutions for efficiency and scalability challenges by leading information gathering sessions and process mapping  conversations.

At a minimum, you have: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (Bonus points if you have food or editing experience and/or education!) 
  • An eye for detail - you’ll catch the smallest of things
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets, comfortable working with large datasets, ability to manage and summarize data seen as an asset.
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple deadlines in a given week
  • A desire to continuously seek and implement process improvement
  • Confidence in your work and abilities - you’re able to problem-solve independently
