✅The Role

As a Product Manager / Owner in Brand Protection, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of innovative Brand Protection reporting and analytics throughout the whole product lifecycle.

Working closely with the Director of Product, Brand Protection, you will create and drive reporting strategy, delivery, and go-to-market building a deep understanding of our customers, internal stakeholders, the competition, and the global problems we are solving. Your mission is to protect consumers and brands determining how to use operations data to drive business optimization enabling Corsearch to drive more value for our clients.

Engage the data

  • Own the data: how do we make our data complete, accurate, enriched with data science and key metrics, and accessible to the business and our clients?
  • Assess the data we have to determine the data we need
  • Assess how to drive better decisions faster
  • Rapidly drive the data journey from data to answers using BI tools to try it before we develop into the full system

Collaborate with Customers

  • Key Stakeholders:
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders, including our customers, to discover and understand the key pain points and outcomes that we need to focus and deliver on, now and in the future
  • Regularly engage clients to best understand their issues and opportunities
  • Mine operational data partnering with key internal stakeholders providing instrumentation required to optimize the business
  • Clients (reporting on the value delivered)
  • Clients (reporting on the data relationships discovered and high-value-targets)
  • Product operations and technology instrumentation

Partner with Engineering, UX, and Data Science

  • Value is measured when we deliver it to the client – not when we are code complete – this role is not just delivering roadmaps and presentations practical / pragmatic software development in a matrixed organization is key
  • We run a flatter organization putting everyone close to the development process – this role will engage the team with the “WHY” and the “SO WHAT” to ensure the team of brilliant engineers are empowered to make better decisions
  • Your wisdom and experience will contribute to making our software development process more robust with product leading by example
  • Includes requirements, design option reviews, connecting data science R&D with product development, ensuring science output makes it into the hands of non-technical users
  • Live and make the following a reality: we build better together and product needs to be looking, talking, documenting, evangelizing, and detailing well ahead to enable engineering to design and future proof – we are building great products not running a code factory
  • Be ready, willing, and able to build yourself using Looker as a rapid prototyping tool and to test and learn

 

 

✅Essential

  • A love of data, analytics and problem solving – you’ll be comfortable with very large and complex data sets and have experience in developing solutions using machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to interact with data in application data stores, data warehouses, and within our business intelligence tools to build valuable reports yourself as well as prototype for future development by engineering teams
  • A passion for UX and great product design – you’ll have worked with UX research and design teams before to deliver user interfaces that help to make sense of data and take action with intuitive workflows.
  • A desire to delight customers – you’ll have a deep understand of their needs but also help but also help them to see future opportunities, including new technology and new ways to combat scammers' ever-changing behaviour
  • Ability to spin many plates and adapt when needed – maintaining focus when there is a lot to do but also making sure that when things change everyone understands the evolution in strategy and delivery.
  • Great collaboration and communication skills – you’ll be comfortable talking to a variety of audiences, facilitating workshops, and will be experienced in using tools such as PowerPoint and Miro.
