Overview:
  • This role will be a part of the Web Strategy and Technology team that sits within the Digital & Growth Marketing organization at MongoDB, reporting to the Lead Digital Product Manager for mongodb.com
  • This role will primarily focus on driving progress for a large CMS migration initiative for mongodb.com, as well as managing steady-state maintenance for our legacy CMS applications
  • This role is ideal for an individual with experience in product ownership, product management, or digital project management, who wants exposure to and mentorship in strategic planning and leadership
Responsibilities include:
  • Drive execution of the product roadmap for mongodb.com - primarily focused on our migration from two legacy applications to a new content management system - through our MVP CMS migration and beyond
  • Play an active role in the end-to-end product lifecycle from quarterly planning through to implementation and release: 
    • Supporting the Lead PM on planning, prioritization, and scope definition
    • Working with Business Analysts as they prepare new features and functionality for implementation
    • Running backlog grooming sessions
    • Partnering with our Engineering manager and Scrum master to help manage our Agile sprints
    • Supporting testing and release activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on requests for new features and enhancements 
  • Ensure the wider cross-functional team is kept updated on the Web Strategy and Technology team’s planning, progress, and results via regular cross-channel and asynchronous updates
  • Offer ideas and feedback that help the Web Strategy and Technology team deliver greater impact for the business (via .com performance improvements, increased rates of customer acquisition, improved ux/ui, etc.)
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience as a product owner, product manager, or digital project manager
  • Experience working with large, distributed teams and driving cross-functional alignment
  • Experience working with Jira and with applying SCRUM/Agile development principles 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working fully remotely
Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience with CMS migrations
  • Awareness/knowledge of ux/ui best practices
  • Hands-on Web management or maintenance experience, such as publishing or production

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$70,000—$138,000 USD
