About The Team:

This role is responsible for assisting in the creation of meal kits for our customers. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our meal kits, whilst ensuring that the Health & Safety and Food Safety standards are met. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your own health, safety and welfare in the activities you undertake.
  • You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager.
  • Execute the processing of rejected items with the utmost attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures, ensuring that all actions are conducted at the highest quality standards.Maintain a consistently organised and clutter-free workspace to enhance efficiency and facilitate seamless workflow.
  • Strictly adhere to established standard operating procedures and work instructions during the handling and processing of rejected items, contributing to the overall consistency and efficiency of the quality control process.
  • Take ownership of the collection and documentation of rejection data, meticulously recording relevant information to contribute to quality performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in adhoc root cause projects, applying basic problem solving skills to investigate and identify the root causes of rejects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Undergo cross-training across different types of rejection stations to ensure versatility and proficiency in handling various rejected items, thereby enhancing flexibility in daily operational activities.
  • Effectively communicate and escalate issues to quality control team leaders, ensuring that any deviations from standard procedures are promptly addressed, and contributing to a proactive and collaborative working environment.
  • Work closely with quality control team leaders and production team leaders to share insights, discuss challenges, and contribute to the development and implementation of strategies aimed at optimising the rejection processing workflow.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with HelloFresh best practices and emerging technologies related to rejection processing. 

Who You Are:

  • GCSE - Maths & English
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations.
  • Proficient in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (relevant certification is a plus).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
