     About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and resourceful Production Control Coordinator (PCC) to join our Global Shared Services (GSS) team. This role is essential for smooth job execution within our POD operations and serves as the first line of intake, coordination, and support. You will handle inbound requests, route tasks to the right team members, and serve as the primary point of contact by phone, supporting both customer service and internal workflows across multiple time zones.

      Functional responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • First-line support by telephony on all POD-related projects: your Zoom number will be shared across the team and used actively throughout the day.
  • Act as the first line of intake and support within the POD: triage the incoming job flow and distribute tasks across the team efficiently.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure correct task ownership and follow-through.
  • Escalate any issues or blockers to relevant stakeholders within operations, engineering, or quality.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers, ensuring timely updates and professional support.
  • Support internal communication and cooperation across departments and shifts.
  • Contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at process simplification and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with Xometry’s quality systems and internal procedures.
Requirements for applicants

Qualifications and Experience

  • Customer service experience is a must.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills (C1) is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other digital collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with strong critical thinking and attention to detail.

The following are preferred but not required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in production control, manufacturing operations, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, or mechanical inspection.

Language skills

English (C1) is mandatory.
