The Production Trainer will be responsible for planning and delivering production training within the Youfoodz business, to a diverse workforce with a focus on compliance and safety requirements. The position has a focus on development of others through the sharing of knowledge and information amongst functional and business teams to build capacity.

Reporting into the Head of Manufacturing, this role will be based on-site at our custom built production facility in Karawatha.

You will…

• Assisting in delivering induction sessions for new employees.
• Developing employee training and development plans in accordance with agreed company development strategy.
• Assessing and evaluating training benefits to the company.
• Providing post training follow up for employees.
• Ensuring that training programs remain relevant and up to date and offer value add for the business.
• Assisting the Training Manager with producing materials for in-house courses and programs.
• Liaising with other departments to understand their needs and requirements for training.
• Updating all programmes to meet both best practice and also changing legislative requirements.
• Assisting the Training Manager with updating and maintaining the LMS.
• Improve employee engagement through training and modelling positive behaviour consistent with the Youfoodz Values.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

You have…

• Current Certificate IV TAE40110 + LLN+TAESS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher.
• 2 years + experience as a food production worker.
• Sound knowledge and experience at a supervisory level in the food manufacturing sector.
• Understanding of GMP regulatory compliance.
