The Team:
Corporate Engagement & Programs is a strategic team within the President’s organization (supporting the executive leadership team) that incubates and executes strategic cross-functional programs from an end-to-end Celonis perspective.
The Role:
As a member of the Corporate Engagement & Programs team, you structure, lead and/or support several company-wide programs, ensure alignment with our overall company strategy, ensure timely and effective execution of key initiatives assigned by the company’s top leaders, and ensure cross-functional collaboration across multiple organizational areas.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in strategic thinking; the management of complex and cross-functional projects (in a software company); stakeholder management, communication, change management and program management. You will also need excellent indirect leadership skills, since you will act as a trusted advisor and business partner to most of our internal departments.
This role will report to the VP of Corporate Engagement & Programs.
The work you'll do:
Strategy and Alignment:
- Spot, analyze and document strategic issues and pain points for the organization, leveraging corporate governance cadence for input and visibility.
- Work closely with the team and company senior leadership to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable initiatives, or incubate executive ideas to create programmatic solutions.
- Ensure that programs are structured and executed in a manner that delivers maximum value to the company.
Centralized Program Oversight:
- Manage various company-wide strategic programs, and company steering efforts, ensuring they are well-coordinated, appropriately resourced, and effectively monitored.
- Promote consistency and best practices in project management.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress reporting mechanisms to track program performance and provide timely updates & suggestions to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative and cooperative environment among various departments and teams involved in program execution.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between different stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Ensure that other program managers and functional leaders are willing to collaborate and support corporate initiatives.
The qualifications you need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of 7-10+ years of experience dealing with multiple stakeholders, aggressive schedules, and scarce resources (preferably in a software company). Part of that experience should be in running strategic programs or projects, including complex, multi-faceted ones.
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Facility with data analysis. Ability and motivation to quickly understand and assess various requirements and solve unique problems across multiple business domains.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas concisely to senior executives, and negotiate mutually acceptable outcomes between diverse teams, requiring strong empathy and tact
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving business environment.
- Understanding of the interdependencies between the internal and external processes in a software company.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including fluent English)
