You are organized and detail-oriented with a passion for helping great teams drive successful completion of programs. You are a great communicator, motivator, problem solver, and program manager. You will be integral to our company’s most strategic, cross-functional programs and ensure the successful launch of major initiatives. You will have an active role in maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders on our sales, product, finance, legal, engineering, and other teams. The Program Manager is a key role within Finance and Operations, working alongside a variety of departments on highly visible, complex, strategic initiatives and driving end-to-end, cross functional program management. You will help lead the top initiatives/programs for the company (e.g. internal transformations, new major products, new offerings, changes to current offerings). You will also be expected to report program progress to executives and stakeholders. 

You will be part of the enablement for any programs that you work on. You will help maintain documentation relating to programs, offer best practices, establish and track metrics, offer and/or organize trainings. 

Responsibilities
  • Leading and driving successful completion of programs that cross over various different departments/teams
  • Provide program management for our company’s top initiatives and help shape the program vision/strategy incorporating various perspectives across business units
  • Work with stakeholders from every area of the business to evaluate and drive business decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • Manage multiple programs at a time, balancing the priorities of the business 
  • Communicate with executives and stakeholders on program status and timelines during implementation
  • Create a shared narrative, manage important milestones, track progress, and ensure the plan succeeds
  • Develop plans/processes that will be implemented by other teams
Requirements
  • A program manager with 5+ years of experience
  • A college degree, preferably with a degree in a business or quantitative field, MBA preferred
  • Excited about MongoDB’s mission and core database technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Background working on cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated skills at building strong working relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels; has passion and convictions and the innate ability to inspire passion in others
  • Demonstrated comfort working closely with executives 
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple programs/priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous, deadline-oriented, and rapidly changing work environment
  • Demonstrable analytical skills using data to derive actionable insights and drive decisions in a business environment
  • Trained in working with program tracking software (e.g. JIRA, Monday, MS program)
  • Experience working with Salesforce/Netsuite/CPQ (preferred)

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$90,000—$176,000 USD
