About the Role:

Airbnb India Tech team was set up in 2021 with a base in Bangalore. We are a fast-growing team and home to the most hospitable people you will ever meet. Our team of over 200 extremely capable tech colleagues aim to make the impossible happen for our inbound and outbound travelers within this big and diverse market. We are on a mission to build world-class products and E2E experiences for all our global partners - hosts and guests, employees and partner communities. 

 

You will be part of the India Tech Business operations office and will report to the Lead- Transformation & Tech Excellence. The Business Operations Partner will ensure seamless execution of key processes, drive operational efficiency, and support the smooth functioning of the Tech Hub. This role requires strong program management, stakeholder coordination, governance, and reporting to enable operational excellence. 

 

What you'll do: Operational Governance & Program Execution
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, operational cadences, and reporting structures to support the execution of site projects.
  • Ensure timely and efficient implementation of operational initiatives in collaboration with functional teams.
  • Track and monitor key operational processes, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Supporting strategic projects that contribute to growth of the site

Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Define and track key operational metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Tech Hub.
  • Develop and manage dashboards and periodic reports to provide visibility into operational performance.
Tech Hub Operations & Support
  • Oversee the daily operations of site initiatives, ensuring efficient execution and coordination.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives including  employee engagement initiatives, employee gatherings

External Communication & Employer Branding Support

Ability to support external communications by crafting compelling narratives for personal LinkedIn and other platforms to generate buzz and enhance employer branding. 

Stakeholder & Partner Coordination
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with local and global stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment across teams for efficient execution of initiatives and deliverables.
Resource & Infrastructure Management
  • Collaborate with functional teams that support the Tech Hub’s operations.
  • Implement best practices in operational workflows to maximize efficiency.

 

What you'll bring: Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 6+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or a similar role within a technology-driven environment.
    • Proven experience in managing governance frameworks, operational cadences, and reporting mechanisms.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders in a fast-paced organization.
    • Prior experience in managing budgets, resource planning, and infrastructure management is a plus.
    • Experience in a technology or innovation-driven organization.
    • Prior exposure to large-scale operational transformations or tech hub setups.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.

Skills & Competencies

  • Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of business processes, workflow optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Building Relationships: Ability to connect with people and roll up their sleeves when required 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in analyzing operational metrics, generating reports, and providing insights for process improvements.
  • Communication & Coordination: Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure seamless execution of operational plans.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to proactively identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions.
  • Technology & Tools: Familiarity with operational tools such as project management software (JIRA, Asana,), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and collaboration platforms (Slack, Confluence).
