Position Overview:

 

The Product and Engineering Operations team supports the business as it continues to improve our product at increased velocity and high quality. We enable our teams to affect change with speed, ease & confidence.

As a Program Manager in Product Operations, you will need excellent project management and communication skills to influence the strategic direction of key initiatives. Ultimately, your success will depend on your demonstrated abilities and attitude, beyond any industry-relevant experience. 

For this role, we are specifically looking for someone to primarily support our Product side of the organization. Key programs will include, but not be limited to, the engineering planning cycle and the PI intake program.

Key Responsibilities:

 

This is a diverse role, and the key responsibilities are providing support to the Product organisation: 

 

  • Utilising cross-functional data to correlate trends and identify strategic actions
  • Advocating for best practices and optimizing tools and instrumentation to address data integrity issues, maximize efficiency, and drive user adoption.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust knowledge management systems to document processes, policies, best practices, and key decisions, ensuring accessibility and consistency across teams.
  • Prepare reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis to inform strategy
  • Automating data correlation, analysis, and reporting at every opportunity
  • Lead the evolution and continuous improvement of our product planning framework, ensuring alignment, transparency, and efficiency from ideation to execution
  • Optimize and streamline our product release processes, ensuring smooth, predictable, and high-quality delivery to market
  • Proactively identify operational risks within the product development lifecycle and implement mitigation strategies to ensure predictable execution and minimize disruption.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Leadership) to ensure alignment on product strategy, operational processes, and shared goals
  • Drive change within Product & Engineering as part of our continuous improvement of our processes, practices, and culture so that we are at the top of our game, and particularly looking for optimizations that leverage AI tools

Role Requirements: 

 

Must haves 

 

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to absorb complex issues and think strategically 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on quality – will be responsible for delivery of final documents and presentations to senior management 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills  
  • Leadership and influencing style that is inclusive, clear, calm, and persuasive at all levels in an internationally diverse company
  • Knowledge of software development 

 

Bonus points

 

  • SaaS Software industry experience
  • Business acumen, including financial literacy, business models, planning, change and project management skills, goal-setting and organisational design 
  • Expertise with Agile and Scrum development practices  
  • Experience in fast-moving scale-ups 
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Pendo, SalesForce and other tools
