Program Manager, Virtual and Cabinetry Design Services
Must be onsite in Boston, MA (Monday-Thursday)
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units will be provided as part of the compensation package.
Wayfair is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Program Manager to lead our Virtual and Cabinetry Design Services programs. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of how customers project shop with Wayfair and our family of brands. You'll be responsible for developing and executing on a comprehensive roadmap, spearheading innovative projects, and partnering with teams like tech and analytics to improve the customer and designer experience. This role comes with a direct report, with the potential to build the team out more as the business grows.
What You'll Do
- Strategic Road mapping: Develop and champion a clear, long-term strategic roadmap for the virtual cabinetry and interior design business, identifying key opportunities for growth, market differentiation, and customer experience enhancements. This includes defining new service offerings, technology requirements, and operational efficiencies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with various teams, including product management, engineering, analytics, marketing, and category management, to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives. You'll be the central point of contact for all virtual cabinetry and interior design efforts, driving alignment and accountability across departments.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead a high-performing team of associates, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and supporting professional development.
- Field Support: Support designers and managers in the field by developing a deep understanding of the design process and designer pain points, clearing roadblocks, and providing feedback on program performance. Business Performance Management: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and growth of the virtual cabinetry and interior design business. You'll identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies to optimize performance.
- Market & Customer Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and evolving customer needs in the design and home improvement space. Translate these insights into actionable strategies to grow our design business.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in business development, product management, strategy, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving growth in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience managing and developing a team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic roadmaps, with a strong understanding of how to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to all levels of the organization.
- Experience in e-commerce, home furnishings, interior design, or a related industry is a plus.
An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy: All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
