Tripadvisor is looking for an individual with Programmatic experience who would like to keep learning the digital advertising ecosystem and play an integral role in programmatic deal management, partnering with our account teams & external clients and data analysis.   The Programmatic Operations Specialist will support various internal and external stakeholders with programmatic deal specifications, pricing, and planning as well as troubleshooting and optimization strategies. They play a crucial role to Tripadvisor’s bottom line by assisting to maximize programmatic ad revenue across display, mobile and video through providing best-in-class service and guidance to both internal teams and external customers and in ensuring our advertisers’ programmatic campaigns have scale across relevant inventory. What You’ll Do:

 

Reporting to the Programmatic Strategy & Operations Manager, the Programmatic Operations Specialist is responsible for the following critical tasks: 

  • Provide best-in-class service and programmatic guidance to Tripadvisor’s internal and external customers e.g. sales, account management, planners, advertising operations, analytics, as well as advertisers, agencies

  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Managers & Clients to understand objectives and needs in order to help develop strategic programmatic media plans

  • Receive and review campaign requests from Sales & Clients and ensure that they adhere to advertising specifications and guidelines

  • Set up programmatic non-guaranteed campaigns (Preferred Deal, Private Auction) across our SSPs. This includes deal custom creation, buyer approvals, troubleshooting, optimizations and reporting

  • Support Sales & Clients with RFIs as well as participating in client meetings and assisting to create any pre/post campaign presentation decks 

  • Help build and maintain data visualization dashboards

  • Review weekly reports and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns launch on time and revenue is maximized

  • Analyze deal performance and proactively uncover any limitations and recommend solutions

  • Seek out opportunities to work collaboratively, expanding the scope & influence of your role as you grow more comfortable

  • Continuously maintain expertise in the digital advertising environment

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience (programmatic selling/buying, display advertising, media, business analytics, and/or online advertising experience)

  • Understanding of the digital ad ecosystem, preferably with programmatic operations experience (selling and/or buying) with GAM360/DV360 or other top SSPs/DSPs

  • Strong attention to details, highly organized

  • Open and collaborative approach

  • Great analytic skills. Excellent problem solver

  • Ability to manage and exceed customer expectations

  • Great interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be communicating daily with multiple key internal and external stakeholders

The salary range for this role is $70,720 to $85,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
