Role: Project/ Account Manager

About the role:

OLIVER is looking for a Project/Account Manager to join our client's team. The role will be based for two days at the client's offices in Chiswick, but from time to time the Account Manager will work from OLIVER HQ – Rosebery Av. You should be a strong leader, with a creative or agency background. In the role as an Account Manager, you will be working closely with clients, steering the development of multiple brands. This role requires a courteous, positive and high-energy individual with great people and organisational skills. Someone who works hard but has fun with it and who can demonstrate a proven track record of driving multiple complex projects forward in a timely fashion. You should have a meticulous attention to detail, establishing yourself as a safe pair of hands ensuring nothing falls through the cracks on projects or the day-to-day management of the account. Working on-site with clients and colleagues you will deliver a breadth of global requirements for clients ranging from creative ideation and copywriting, social and campaign asset development and production, right through to delivery of global master assets

What you will be doing:

Client Management:

  • Strong client management responsibility.
  • You are confident with clients, and have a consistent record of taking, interpreting and delivering projects, within agreed timeframes – under high pressure environments.
  • You are able to challenge the client when necessary, whilst keeping a positive relationship.
  • You negotiate to create win-win compromises with your client on behalf of your team members where needed.

Project Management:

  • Defining project scope and creating plans that outline tasks, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Creating and managing timelines and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Booking and managing creative and design resource, including the briefing of these teams.
  • Estimating costs, establishing budgets, tracking spending, and adjusting as necessary.
What you need to be great in this role:
  • An experienced account handler at Project/Account Manager level.
  • You will be articulate and engaging and generally a natural in front of senior clients.
  • A passion for social media, creative, content and technology is a must.
  • Social media and content ideation experience is essential.
  • Photography and video shoot, along with website and digital content creation experience is preferred.
  • You will be able to correctly estimate time plans and ensure that you have all the data and assets your team need in order to deliver to or exceed client expectations.
  • Providing GP & MI reports (training is provided).
  • Work collaboratively with the OLIVER central team and partner agencies in the Inside Ideas Group.
  • The role needs someone who is capable of thinking on their feet, and who is happy to challenge and question along the process.
  • Encouraging a positive, proactive solution-first attitude, with clear communication at all stages of the process.
