We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our London Team on a new exciting project!

YOU WILL:

OWN THE DELIVERY PLAN FOR A CLIENT-FACING PROJECT:

  • Use your personal experience with Agile delivery to take advantage of its strengths and mitigate its potential risks
  • Tailor the process to the team and the project circumstances
  • Work with our clients to manage the scope of the delivery and build a delivery plan
  • Give visibility on estimated delivery timeline and track actual progress compared to plan
  • Actively monitor and mitigate project risk
  • Report project status to client and Adaptive stakeholders, and communicate transparently
  • Actively manage the client’s expectations, make assumptions explicit and create a document trail for important decisions taken throughout the engagement.

MANAGE A TEAM OF HIGHLY-SKILLED ENGINEERS:

  • Empower highly-skilled team members to deliver their best and involve them in decision-making, in the spirit of servant leadership
  • Identify and drive the resolution of problems affecting team cohesion as well as individual performance and well-being
  • Understand various software concepts to discuss problems and orchestrate strategy with various talents in the team (including but not limited to: real-time programming, high availability, TDD, BDD, UX design, DevOps concerns…)
  • Work with distributed teams (London/Barcelona)
  • Own the staffing plan for the engagement, including forecast and discussions with leadership about needs and adjustments to make
  • Take part in the probation process for new members of staff, and support career development (if joining as a permanent member of staff)

MANAGE THE PROJECT BACKLOG:

  • Help stakeholders in making their vision for the product materialise
  • Convey that vision to the team for alignment purposes, and so they can make holistic design decisions that will support the delivery
  • Create & maintain a backlog of deliverable stories for the team
  • Be the stakeholders’ proxy in the team, able to make quick, firm decisions when it comes to scope, requirements and prioritisation/triage
  • Involve team members when their perspective can bring value, including times when it can support scope and priority decisions
  • Follow up during the implementation and testing phases to ensure delivery satisfies the requirements

THE PROCESS

Long interview processes are stressful and boring and that is not us 

We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.So here you will have three stage interviews:

1- Chat with one of our great recruiters.2- Zoom chat with one of our PM where they will ask you detailed questions about your experience3- Face to Face interview (either in our office or remotely via Zoom).

But don’t worry; everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter.
