ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth creation of great work, delivered efficiently and to deadlines. You will be a trusted partner to a large portfolio of client stakeholders, working seamlessly as an extension of the client’s team.

This role requires a courteous, positive and high-energy individual with great people skills. As an excellent relationship-builder, you will need to be great with creative teams, and clients alike, hard-working, and passionate about producing the best creative product you can.

Process is key and you will be someone who respects and understands that. you will be confident with clients, and have a consistent record of taking, interpreting and delivering projects. You will be able to challenge the client where necessary, whilst keeping a positive relationship. You will negotiate win-win compromises with your client on behalf of your team members where needed.

Most importantly, you will establish yourself as a safe pair of hands ensuring nothing falls through the cracks on projects and day to day management of the account. 

You are an advocate for promoting positive sustainable behaviours and able to put a sustainability lens on the strategic and creative process.

You will be open and willing to attend Change the Brief training and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Own day to day task management of projects across print, digital and social. 
  • Create and communicate project estimates and timelines, effectively measuring progress against each throughout the delivery process to ensure projects deliver on brief, on time, and on budget. 
  • Proactively anticipate and rectify issues throughout delivery, identifying and mitigating risks at all times.  
  • Lead kick off and internal WIP meetings. Hold daily stand ups, providing detailed status updates with clear next steps and ownership against actions. 
  • Work collaboratively, motivate and encourage the closest and wider teams ensuring all team members remain focused on delivering the best work possible and feel supported in doing so. 
  • Full ownership for areas of responsibility, working autonomously when required.
  • Be seen as the voice of reason between project team members, presenting all problems with a solution.
  • Drive project efficiency and creative excellence at all times.
  • The role needs someone who is capable of thinking on their feet, and who is happy to challenge and questions the process.
  • You will be articulate and engaging and generally a natural in front of senior clients. 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • 5+ years’ experience managing creative, copy, design, artwork process from initial briefing to delivery. 
  • Sound understanding of production process within a fast-paced, creative environment. 
  • Work well under pressure with strong attention to detail and consistency. 
  • Highly organised with a logical approach to challenges. 
  • The ability to monitor work closely and manage team members to meet tight deadlines implementing change management to a project plan as necessary. 
  • Competent efficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  
  • Good understanding of project finances and commercials – estimating, timings, costs and invoicing. 
  • Confident communication skills with internal teams, discipline leads and client services. 
  • Track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms. 
  • Booking and managing resource. 
  • Experience dealing directly with clients.
