YOUR MISSION

In the context of “giving users easy access to anything in their city”, Q-commerce (Quick Commerce) is the business unit that aims to provide immediacy to all product needs that a user might have, from delivering a video game, to sending a gift... to filling up their fridge. As part of the Global Groceries team, the Global Specialties Project Manager will be responsible for helping us develop Specialty stores such as Bakeries, Wine shops, Butcheries, Organic shops in Glovo’s 25 countries. 

THE JOURNEY

  • Transversal project management: Navigate a highly diverse set of stakeholders in HQ  (Data, People, Operations, Product, Legal, Finance, etc.) and local Q-commerce teams to drive action and results. 
  • Supportive environment: Build and maintain a good relationship with local teams while giving constructive feedback.
  • Expand to new countries: Establish new ways of working and guide local teams to start building the vertica

Main projects:

  • Partners performance: Track key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and assess actionable steps for the local team.
  • Commercial support: Hold recurrent meetings with local teams to facilitate negotiations with top partners and ensure all commercial targets are met. Additionally, develop reporting tools such as Looker dashboards and pitch decks.
  • Events: Focus on leveraging specific festivities like St. Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, and Christmas. As the Specialties PM, you will monitor and guide local teams to ensure the best content (special products) and dedicated app features are available to increase awareness.
  • PIM and Catalogue: Support the migration of Delivery Hero’s systems and tools across all markets.
  • Ad-hoc plans such as Bubble management, update both Prime and Store MBS to maintain homogeneous values across countries, and define partner monetization actions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • At least 3 years of experience as Project Manager or Commercial roles 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with exposure to senior partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and data-driven approach to issues
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well!
  • Full proficiency in English is required
  • Grittiness, never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and address something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
  • Availability to travel to provide closer support to teams.
