Role: Project Manager

Location: Hybrid / London, Blackfriars (requirement to be in office x2 days per week)

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Project Manager will lead projects from concept to completion, providing the direction and control required to do this. Building strong relationships with our clients' marketing teams, the Project Manager is the key communicator on the status, risks, and challenges of all the project deliverables, inclusive of budget and resources.

The Project Manager will have a strong understanding of digital disciplines and will be confident working in both agency and in-house creative teams. You will create and facilitate timing plans and will assume responsibility for the review and approval process of creative output - ensuring the projects you own run on time and budget. You will be great with creative teams where you will understand the importance of good briefs and you will be confident educating on the importance of good briefs. You will be hard-working and passionate about good creative work and driving best practices to ensure the best possible output to the brief. You will be driven by efficient and effective processes, and you will be a stickler for detail.

This role will be underpinned by passion and ambition, and those with experience in project managing digital content within a creative agency will have an advantage

 

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to our Account Director, the Project Manager is responsible for running creative and production processes in collaboration with our client’s creative team. You will have oversight on team capacity, where you will support in proactive planning to ensure new briefs and new requests are being triaged, prioritised, and resourced effectively.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

You’ll be responsible for the triaging of briefs within our client’s creative team where it will be your job to effectively manage expectations with your stakeholders. You will manage the delivery of projects to ensure success as defined by agreed scope and timelines, driving projects through from early stage of initiation to final implementation

WHAT IS REQUIRED:

 

 

  • A passion for digital marketing and solid experience as a Project Manager in a similar role.
  • Organisation of project meetings, communicating and driving actions.
  • Taking meeting minutes and updating plans and documents.
  • Triaging, scheduling, and resourcing of new briefing requests ensuring requests are delivered in order of importance and prioritisation.
  • Co-ordinate between various Marketing Managers during all project phases, encouraging transparency of delivery effort, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Working closely with the multiple marketing teams to understand status, issues and risks escalating to our client’s Head of Creative where appropriate.
  • Understanding of digital project requirements to support the wider marketing team.
  • Build productive working relationships with team members, senior stakeholders and event owners to ensure priorities are understood by all impacted parties.
  • Be an advocate for effective project management processes and support the Head of Creative to improve guidelines, templates, and processes – improving and optimising ways of working.
  • Reviewing and reporting on project resources and providing an analysis on creative team output.
  • Confidence in educating on the importance of good briefs, ensuring the creative team have the best start possible to the project.
  • Implementation of project management best practice including, fit-for-purpose briefing templates, briefing kick-off meetings and presentations, and gathering project feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring key Service Level Agreements are met by all parties involved.

 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

 

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Overall responsibility for the successful initiation of the project plan and execution with stakeholders, monitoring progress, controlling deadlines and closure of the project
  • The ability to develop and put forward the best process designed to improve the efficiency of ways of working.
  • The ability to host clear, efficient and productive project meetings for differing stages of the project from kick off, discovery and so on, using a project methodology.
  • Great communication skills that are tailored for each of your stakeholders that you work with.
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software.
  • Confident working autonomously.
  • Excellent presentation skills – both written and spoken.
  • Events marketing experience.
  • Experience in multiple industry sectors, B2B experience is preferred.
  • Strong project management experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with Monday.com is advantageous.
