Location:Woking, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid; x2 days onsite)

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Creative Project Manager will have an extensive background in running creative/design projects specifically dealing with projects that cover extensive media plans and deliverables. You will be the OLIVER day to day lead for your category, project management and building and successful client and team relationships.  

As Project Manager, you will have a proven track record for driving multiple complex projects forward. Ensuring the successful execution and activation of numerous design projects, establishing robust timelines and managing them through to final delivery, across multiple stakeholders.   

You should have meticulous attention to detail, understand the importance of the efficiency/profitability of your projects for the agency and you will have proven yourself as a safe pair of hands on the day-to-day management of your category. You will have to be able to establish strong relationships with marketing stakeholders.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting into the Project Director, you’ll be working in a team of eight, mostly based in London with additional offshore support (located in India). Working alongside an Account Director, Design Director, Senior Designer Designer, Copywriter, Motion Graphics Designer and an Integrated Designer.  

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • As a Project Manager, you are accountable for leading and developing the projects you are assigned to, as well as keeping an open and efficient working relationship with your RHS in-house team to keep clients happy.
  • You are accountable for the smooth running and overall delivery of the projects assigned to you.
  • Ensuring that the client experience is as positive as possible. Encouraging a proactive solution first attitude, with clear communication in person, supported by documentation in email.
  • Responsible for Brand guardianship of projects within the team.
  • Be a champion for best practice and ensuring that internal processes are followed.
  • Work with the RHS Team to educate clients on OLIVER ways of working.
  • Triage projects using the OLIVER tier system, alongside the client project manager and design team.
  • Accountable for the timely delivery of projects.
  • Ensures that only work that meets the project brief is shared with the client.
  • Monitors project run rate and client satisfaction through catch ups with job owners and the weekly account/project management WIP.
  • Escalates any projects that are at risk of an unsuccessful delivery.
  • Works with job owners, when required, to ensure that projects are running smoothly.
  • Influence and inspire your internal team to deliver projects to a high standard including QC.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Client Contact

  • Receive briefs and understand the brief before de-briefing the production and / or creative teams
  • Manage client expectations and maintain open lines of communication at all times
  • Ensure clients receives the best quality product within time and budget 
  • Conduct timeous communication both written and verbal with all stakeholders internally and externally, with a sense of urgency and accuracy   

Project Management

  • Ensure that the team is adhering to deadlines and resources quoted and billed for 
  • Managing the job timeline on a daily basis and also being able to accommodate new briefs
  • Booking and managing freelancers/Final mix/voice-overs
  • Liaising with internal traffic management to ensure timeous scheduling of resources
  • Maintaining accurate and ongoing status reports on a daily basis
  • Ensure project profitability on closure and ensuring all financial documents are received and filed timeously as per the Ways of Working protocol
  • Time Sheet Keeping  

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 3-5+ years experience 
  • Print experience essential
  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
  • The ability to manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity.
  • Knowledge of account management and invoicing.
  • Highly creative with the ability to generate ideas and practically contribute to studio output.
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.
  • Ability to learn quickly and be a self starter. 
  • Solution first mindset.
