You will have the ability to independently interpret a range of regulations, determine the impact of those on the Group’s EU bank subsidiary, and to manage projects to implement them.

    • Solvent wind down/ resolution planning: supporting the planning and production of EU addendums to the Group resolution plan and production of the EU SWDP.
    • Regulatory reporting: supporting with identifying, assessing and addressing the regulatory reporting required by Monzo EU in all applicable jurisdictions
  • Supporting the team to monitor compliance with EU prudential requirements on a forwards looking basis.
  • Development and maintenance of monthly EU key risk indicators for the Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCo).
  • Identifying the impact of future prudential regulatory change and supporting relevant teams to assess and adapt to the challenges.
  • Assessing the regulatory reporting implications of expanding into the EU, including any iterative requirements, data implications and system enhancements.
  • Liaising with teams across the bank including product, borrowing, finance and risk.

🤩We’d love to hear from you if…

  • You have prudential regulatory experience at either an EU bank, consultancy firm, or regulatory body and want to apply it to a fast growing new EU bank.
  • You have detailed knowledge/experience of the relevant EU regulatory requirements, and the ability to interpret what that means for a new and growing EU bank.
  • You have the ability to coordinate, participate and lead projects to produce regulatory deliverables and maintain the Bank’s set of prudential documentation and supporting materials.
  • You are interested in identifying relevant data, performing analysis and understanding the impact on our bank.
  • You’re able to distil regulatory principles into operational requirements and effectively support those responsible for implementing them.
