What to Expect in This Role  

Teads is excited to hire the first Publisher Manager in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to spearhead our growth in this dynamic market. As the pioneer in this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape and drive our technology partnerships with digital publishers across multiple platforms. You will play a critical part in expanding Teads' footprint in Malaysia, leveraging your expertise with digital publishers, SSPs, video ad platforms, and ad networks. 

Your strong understanding of online advertising technologies will be instrumental in developing, optimising, and managing our publisher relationships, making a significant impact from day one. Publisher Development: Grow our publisher partnerships in Malaysia by establishing and nurturing relationships with digital publishers and app owners.

Account Management: Handle day-to-day operations and maintain strong communication with publishers, conducting quarterly business reviews for key accounts to identify areas for growth and improvement.

Campaign Optimisation: Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaign performance to meet client objectives, utilising your expertise in SSPs, Google Ad Manager (GAM), tag management, and prebid/header bidding solutions.

Technical Implementation: Oversee the implementation and management of ad tags, ensuring seamless integration and performance of various ad technologies.

Collaboration: Work closely with Ad Operations, Sales, and the APAC Publisher Operations team to implement growth strategies for accounts and deliver against campaign objectives.

Strategic Expansion: Participate as a key strategy member in the expansion of our publisher partnerships across other regional markets.

What You Offer

  • Minimum of 3 years in Digital Media, preferably in a publisher development, operations, or SSP role within an ad network or ad platform sales environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SSPs, GAM, tag management, prebid solutions, and a strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Solid understanding of the digital media ecosystem with a good network of digital publishers and app owners.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
