QA Engineer - Gaming
Are you an experienced QA Engineer looking for your next challenge? The Gaming Area within Product Development is now hiring! The Gaming Area at Betsson Group focuses on Game Play and Game Discovery across all our brands and markets. We aim to offer the best gaming products in the industry and an exciting user experience when playing on our sites. We cover game lobbies, gaming initiatives, provider integrations and much more.
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our PD Gaming Department and help drive quality across our initiatives. This role will involve both backend and frontend testing, working closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, performance, and a high quality user experience across our applications.
What we would like to see
- Strong experience in Quality Assurance across frontend and backend systems
- Experience designing, executing, and maintaining automated tests
- A proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of API testing and service validation
- Experience testing user journeys, and responsive applications
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams
- Passion for improving quality processes and engineering standards
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Playwright with TypeScript for test automation
- Postman for API testing and validation
- Swagger for API documentation and endpoint verification
- Browser Developer Tools for frontend debugging and network analysis
- Grafana for monitoring and observability
- CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
- Logging and debugging tools
- Version control systems such as Git
A taster of what you will be involved with
- Testing platform improvements and product features across both frontend and backend systems
- Building and maintaining automated test suites
- Validating APIs, backend workflows, and service integrations
- Testing UI functionality, usability, and user journeys
- Collaborating with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to improve release quality
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the development teams
- Helping ensure platform stability, reliability, and overall product quality across services and applications
