We, at ThoughtSpot, are looking for a QA Engineer -  Manual/ Automation in SaaS/ Cloud Infra.You will build a highly customisable and extensible data rendering platform. The platform will have modularised data dash-boarding capabilities that allow building interactive applications that leverage AI, ML, and ad-hoc query capabilities uniquely available in ThoughtSpot.

Your mission:

• Define and drive increasing quality for the product by enabling engineering teams to deliver higher quality by default.  
• We are looking for a cloud infrastructure tester to be responsible for designing and running test scripts. The tester will conduct tests, analyse the results, and report observations.
• We are looking for a QA Tester to assess infrastructure stability and performance through manual and automated testing.
• Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads 
• Design and maintain automated testing process across CICD pipelines
• Work with development team to understand the component integration
• In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.

 You know you are the right person if you:

• Are deeply passionate about the quality of products, the associated user experience and uncompromising engineering standards. You have been doing this for over 3 years and are still wide-eyed about the possibilities of delivering high-quality products.
• Have experience in analytics platform/ product testing is highly preferred
• Are skilled in troubleshooting issues and help the development team in reproducing the same
• Knowledge and hands-on in SaaS components and their end-to-end functionality like VPC, WAF rules, Terraform scripts, Alert monitoring, Logging
• Able to write SaaS Infra End-to-End testing scenarios

• Able to build end-to-end testing scenarios around VPC, WAF Rules, Terraform Scripts
• Able to write test cases around testing the system’s robustness and performance
• Good to have knowledge on BDD automation framework and API functional tests
• Multi cloud testing experience would be a plus. Knowledge of different CDWs is an added advantage
• Have significant coding experience in any scripting language Javascript/ Python
• Coding skills in Java/ C++
• Working knowledge of test management software, SQL
• Have a BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
• Have excellent communication, collaboration, analytical and problem solving skills in a diverse environment working with cross-functional teams
• Actively provide mentorship in your team to help people be more effective and grow
