Quality Assurance Analyst

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be an expert tester and will test a variety of technical solutions and products using a range of methods and tools to produce accurate test reports. You will have a vision of what and how quality assurance can contribute in an agency environment. You will be able to define, communicate and escalate quality-related issues to technical delivery, project and account teams and will push back when work does not meet quality standards.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Test case Design: Develop comprehensive test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
- Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure that software meets quality standards.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects using appropriate tools.
- Functional Testing: Responsible for functional testing of web and mobile applications.
- Cross-Browser Testing: Responsible for testing across different browsers and their various versions.
- Non-Functional testing - Accessibility, Performance
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure a high-quality user experience.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in quality assurance.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in manual testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ADO, Sharepoint, Testrail, Testpad).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide insightful analysis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and articulate testing processes and findings.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: ISTQB intermediate level.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in e-commerce is a plus.
- CMS Experience: Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) is a plus.
