What You Will Be Doing:

  • Organise Quality Control (QC) auditors for the shift and ensure they are set up for success 
  • Lead and manage QC auditors, driving their adherence to standard operating procedures while achieving QC targets
  • Facilitate reporting on QC metrics and able to escalate effectively to production or managerial levels on the deviations.
  • Coach and train QC auditors, drive quality performance and keep up with evolving QC requirements. 
  • Conduct root cause analysis during shifts to identify systemic issues, guide production to implement corrective actions to minimise errors.
  • Apply effective containment strategies as needed, demonstrating the ability to address quality issues promptly and prevent their escalation.
  • Execute seamless handovers from the previous shift QC team leader, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of ongoing tasks, challenges and priorities. 
  • Foster a collaborative relationship with the production team during shifts, working together to preempt errors and achieve quality standards.
  • Support QC Manager to lead impactful continuous improvement projects to reduce site error rates.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, specifically navigating the quality control system to effectively manage both product and automation-related rejections.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 1 year of team management experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality control processes and procedures.
  • Comfortable to liaise with other stakeholders to influence and make decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems using own initiative
  • FMCG and grocery retail knowledge preferable
  • Embraces change and willing to challenge the status- quo

Work Schedule: There are two roles we are recruiting for, below are the shift patterns:

1 - Sunday to Wednesday - Rotating Days (7am - 7pm) and Nights (7pm - 7am) every 3 Months. *Rotation onto Night Shift will start from October 2024*

2 - Wednesday to Saturday - Rotating Days (7am - 7pm) and Nights (7pm - 7am) every 3 Months. *Rotation onto Night Shift will start from October 2024*
