We’re expanding our successful global equity stat arb business with the build out of a new team of quantitative researchers and developers focused on developing mixed-frequency (low/mid) strategies based out of Hong Kong. As a quantitative developer, you will collaborate closely with the team’s researchers and engineers to architect, build, and maintain the team’s research infrastructure and production systems. Responsibilities will range from implementing numerical algorithms to working on Python and C++ research tools that scale to thousands of cores, as well as managing production trading systems. As a new team, we’re looking for someone who enjoys open-ended problems and owning their solutions - you'll be a part of a cutting-edge team leveraging state-of-the-art technology and data, while working in a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth. 

What you'll do: 

  • Integrate and onboard the firmwide tools for the specific use cases of the trading team
  • Ensure seamless data flow and compatibility with the team’s systems and tools
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers to access data quality and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to ensure the data meets the high standards required for trading strategies
  • Work with the central tech team to implement necessary customizations and adjustments to the firmwide interface
  • Ensure that the customized solutions align with the trading team’s requirements and enhance overall performance
  • Write high-level machine learning APIs

Skills You’ll Need:

  • At least 4 years of experience working with large distributed systems in Python and C++ on a Linux platform
  • Experience working with large, out-of-core datasets
  • Comfort with linear algebra, probability, and statistics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • An interest in global financial markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
