We are searching for a Recipe Developer to join our ambitious Culinary team in Amsterdam. In this role, you'll create mouthwatering new recipes and enhance existing ones to captivate our customer base. Your responsibilities include creating recipes for various customer preferences while meeting specific cost, nutritional content, and customer satisfaction criteria. You'll be involved in every recipe development stage, from brainstorming ideas to testing and validation. This role requires close collaboration with the Editorial, Menu Planning, and Procurement teams to maintain product quality. Reporting to the Lead Recipe Developer, you will play an integral role in our culinary innovation efforts.

🥑 This is how you’ll make an impact

• Developing new recipes while considering customer preferences, seasonality, variety, nutritional values, ease of cooking, and dietary customs.
• Testing dishes in our kitchen and adjusting recipes as necessary. We receive feedback from our customers on the recipes every week, which you use to improve them.
• Checking all recipes that go into the box; ensuring the ingredient list is filled in correctly, the text is accurate, and the recipe is written simply enough.
• Based on input from the procurement teams, you adjust recipes so we can continue to send a complete meal to the customer in case of delivery issues.
• Approximately once per quarter, you will have an on-call weekend shift to assist Production teams and minimise customer impact of last-minute issues.
• Support on various Culinary projects, ranging from a deep dive into the performance of specific recipe concepts to managing a seasonal offering launch.

 🍉 These are the ingredients you’ll bring to the team

• Excellent command of the English language.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development.
• Passion for food, cooking, and quality ingredients.
• Enjoyment of spending time in the kitchen and creating delicious meals.
• Natural ability to develop new recipes and simplify them for customers.
• Always prioritise customer satisfaction.
• Note that you will spend a maximum of three days per week in the kitchen. The remaining days will be spent brainstorming and developing recipes, reviewing existing ones, and collaborating with our procurement and production teams.
