About the Team:

The Reconciliation Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of outsourced employees tasked with ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions. This role will require a strong understanding of reconciliation processes, financial data analysis, and effective team leadership.What you’ll be spending your time on:

  • Team Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of outsourced employees to achieve reconciliation objectives.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
    • Ensure adherence to team standards, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Banking Operations, Product, Payment Review) to streamline reconciliation processes.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead reconciliation-related projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project goals.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing reconciliation findings.

Have you done this kind of stuff?

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a FinTech or financial services company.
  • Proven experience leading and managing teams, preferably in an outsourced environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build relationships.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel with expertise in VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and other advanced functions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
