About the Team:

The Market Operations team oversees the launch strategy and deployment of Worldcoin across all markets. This team deploys and manages all orbs worldwide and serves as the primary point of contact for local Operators. This team is responsible for effectively onboarding active users to Worldcoin. Overall, the Market Operations team is on the frontlines of Tools for Humanity’s ambitious mission of global, inclusive, and rapid distribution of the Worldcoin token.

The Market Operations team consists of three subteams 1) Expansion 2) Growth Operations and 3) Central Operations. The Expansion team is responsible for the market assessment, setup, and initial go-to-market. The Growth Operations team is responsible for ongoing management, partnerships, business development, and marketing within the region. The Central Operations team enables operational excellence by ensuring alignment across all markets and providing Support and global Operator communications. All subteams work cross-functionally with many other areas of the business to ensure the successful adoption and distribution of the Worldcoin token.

This role falls within the scope of Growth Operations, behaving as a liaison between Central Operations, Global Product, and other Global Teams with the LatAm local teams on the ground.

 

About the Opportunity:

Location: Buenos Aires / Mexico City

The LatAm Regional Operations team is seeking for a Regional Associate who will help the Regional Operations Manager in defining the LatAm strategic priorities, ensuring priorities are well aligned, and implement the right processes for tracking, ensuring accountability, and implementing the right reporting cadence (e.g. weekly reports, meetings’ cadence, MBRs & QBRs, among other things). This role will also help elevating the standard and quality of our regional FP&A processes (Forecasting, Cost Line Controls, Budget Alignment, etc.), contribute in modeling product-integration and partnership deals, help with the organizational structure, and, finally, contribute with data analysis and coming up with business-relevant insights that drive action in the different markets.

This role will strongly collaborate with Market Managers as well as to cross-functional leaders across the Region (e.g. Policy, Comms, Legal, Marketing, etc.). Stakeholder management in a global company like TFH will also be a key attribute to have given the relevance of having everybody aligned. The role demands a creative and strategic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.

Key responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accountability: Develop and coordinate the governance and accountability models for the team to ensure that we are on track to achieve our goals; own and maintain metrics dashboards and reporting cadences, ensuring key leaders always have the right information in front of them to foster data-driven decisions; prepare content for regular business reviews 
  • Support strategic priorities: Collaborate with the LatAm leadership to work on the vision, strategy, and goals for the Region, and define strategic priorities. You will work closely with and advise business leaders across the organization on topics ranging from specific analyses to quarterly strategic planning.
  • Fact finding: The team uses TFH's dataset and external data sources to improve our understanding of our ecosystem and operations to find opportunities and risks that may have a significant impact on the business; be proactive about surfacing robust insights from this data that can provide actions for the Operations team as well as drive internal improvements.
  • Maintaining accountability: Develop and coordinate the governance and accountability models for the team to ensure that we are on track to achieve our goals; own and maintain metrics dashboards and reporting cadences, ensuring key leaders always have the right information in front of them to foster data-driven decisions; prepare content for regular business reviews 
  • Work with Regional Ops Manager leading projects: Be the glue that brings teams together to ensure critical initiatives reach our customers and team stakeholders. Be a hustling multi-tasker, driving cross-functional groups to decisions on strategically significant questions. 
  • Building Relationships: Interface beyond the LatAm team with other teams and functional areas (Product, Central Operations, Econ & Data Science, Field Operations, Logistics, Marketing, Comms, Policy, BD, etc.) to leverage learnings and ensure cohesive business strategy.
About You:
  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience. You have succeeded in high-performance environments in strategy, consulting, analytics/finance, or a related field.
  • You’re scrappy. You enjoy working as part of a fast-moving, dynamic team and are willing to contribute wherever needed to make an impact.
  • You have strong cross-cultural competency. You are able to communicate and do business across different cultures and countries and have experience working in cross-cultural environments.
  • You’re analytical. You make data-driven decisions and are eager to contribute to larger strategy conversations. Plus if you already have worked with SQL.
  • You have high standards and a bias toward action. You can find the context and information you need through relationships across the organization, you push for clarity and delivery, and you hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with

You’re based in Buenos Aires or Mexico City, and are ready to travel. You are able to spend 50-75% of your time on the road to drive growth in your region.
