THE WORK:
Join our team in San Francisco, CA as a Regulatory Compliance Intern at Ripple. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-growing fintech environment and assist the Global Regulatory Compliance team with daily operations, ensuring we are in compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Gain exposure to a high growth fintech’s global compliance programs by working on several projects to support licensing, third-party risk management, outsourcing, and privacy activities
- Support the team in maintaining the risk management tool and its data inventory
- Conduct compliance testing of the third-party risk management program and work closely with cross-functional teams to successfully implement the reviews
- Participate in improving the ongoing monitoring workflows for outsourcing
- Assist in researching and preparing reports and presentations on relevant local and international regulations that impact our business operations
- Help prepare materials that will support licensing applications or the maintenance of Ripple’s existing licenses
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a university pursuing a degree in business administration, economics, political science, psychology, or other related field
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to interpret large sets of data or regulatory requirements, exercise good judgment and recommend solutions
- Detail oriented with a proactive approach
- Proficient with productivity tools and hands-on experience with Google Apps
- Strong communication (presentation, writing, speaking) and interpersonal skills
- Available to come into the San Francisco office 2 to 3 times per week as required
