The Thailand Reports Food and Drink Analyst focuses on providing thought-leading insights and analysis across multiple categories within the Thai market. Our Analysts are tasked with challenging our clients’ ideas and thinking by providing fresh insight and analysis with impact building upon our proprietary data and analysis. 

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop and write long form reports in English based on Mintel’s proprietary consumer and product data.
  • Identify objectives for consumer research and develop quantitative consumer questionnaires to meet those objectives.
  • Comment on industry issues and trends that impact company strategy, brand development, innovation and consumer behaviour.
  • You will be using a wide range of research tools, including primary and secondary sources alongside quantitative research to create content to a monthly publishing schedule within defined F&D categories.
  • Identify/analyse market conditions and analyze product launch data.
  • Review finalised reports once translated into Thai 
  • Maintain strong industry knowledge and be able to confidently speak to industry and category-level trends
  • Work with both Mintel’s F&D local Thailand and international client base of major global brands, supporting our Account management teams through every interaction.
  • Help coordinate analyst support for client requests on Food and Drink topics in Thailand by presenting these insights in person and via webinars.
  • Speak at webinars, conferences, briefings and major industry events

 

What we are looking for:

  • Degree qualified 
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English and Thai 
  • Knowledge and experience with primary research design principles and techniques 
  • Experience working within the Food and Drink / FMCG Industry (preferred) 
  • Natural curiosity and passion for research and insights
