In 2023, we engaged with leading external advisors to guide our business strategy, identifying market opportunities and adjacencies we can sell into our base. Reporting directly into the Board of Directors, you’ll play a critical role in this strategy, identifying and evaluating potential acquisitions and investments to optimise our growth.

You’ll bring with you an understanding of research analysis, deal origination and a proven record of successfully identifying and reporting on the suitability of potential companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of companies within the target industry to identify potential acquisition targets.
  • Utilize financial modelling and valuation techniques to assess the attractiveness and viability of potential deals.
  • Lead the initial approach and engagement with target companies, establishing relationships and gathering essential information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate strategic fit and alignment with PHMG's objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for the board of directors.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact potential acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in research, with a focus on corporate finance
  • Demonstrable experience in researching and approaching potential acquisition targets.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyse complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ideally a degree in Business or related subject.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to effectively convey complex information to senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for identifying opportunities and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
