About the role

We're looking for a Research Coordinator to help improve the efficiency and scale of our research operations. In this critical role, you'll support our dynamic Research & Insights team by managing important processes across the research lifecycle—from vendor and compliance coordination to documentation and survey support. This role is ideal for someone excited to collaborate and unlock strategic bandwidth for senior team members.

Reporting to our Senior Director, Head of Research & Insights, you'll work with partners across Legal, Procurement, and external vendors.

• You will coordinate research operations to unlock bandwidth for senior researchers, enhancing strategic focus and stakeholder impact.
• You will manage vendor and compliance workflows, ensuring the smooth execution of contracts, NDAs, and invoicing.
• You will maintain centralized documentation and tracking systems, creating a single source of truth for project updates and SOPs.
• You will support survey implementation, including programming, piloting, and data preparation.
• You will keep research knowledge repositories updated and accessible, ensuring team-wide visibility and operational readiness.
• You will collaborate with multiple departments (Legal, CX, Procurement, AP) to refine and enhance research processes.
• You will identify process improvements and suggest scalable solutions to improve research workflows.
• You will support internal communications including newsletters and dashboards to share research insights across the company.

We are considering applicants available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite at our Los Angeles office.

About You

• You have 1+ years of experience in a research coordination or operational support role within a media, entertainment, or tech environment.
• You have working knowledge of research tools (e.g., Survey Monkey, Qualtrics) and processes, including vendor coordination and data handling protocols.
• You have demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows across teams and drive process improvement.
• You embody a growth mindset, ready to learn new tools and propose innovative ways to optimize research execution.

Crunchyroll's Research & Insights team helps drive the growth of our streaming service and brand globally by delivering impactful insights across the anime consumer, content, brand, culture, and market intelligence.

As a member of CDI (Center for Data & Insights), you are joining a growing, diverse, and dynamic team of researchers, business analysts, data engineers and scientists that answer some of our most consequential and sophisticated business questions. The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
