Research Intern, BGP
Our BGP research team has access to massive volumes of unmatched data collected from some of the largest enterprise and public networks in the world. While your time at ThousandEyes as an intern might be limited, your impact will be immense! You will be paired with and mentored by a full-time researcher on one of the many exciting ongoing projects we have, with direct impact on our product!
As part of the research team, you will innovate, design, and develop new algorithms to improve the inference schemes within the ThousandEyes BGP product, and will work with world class engineering and product teams to take your innovations from proof of concept to production and be used by some of the largest networks in the world.
What We're Looking For- Understanding of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, etc.
- Optional experience in languages such as Go.
- Solid Computer Science fundamentals and object-oriented design skills.
- Good collaboration and communication skills.
- Ongoing Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science or similar.
- Command of spoken and written English.
