We are looking for a dynamic Revenue Manager to be the newest member of our Revenue team in this fast-growing, truly globally distributed company. This role offers an ideal opportunity for individuals eager to lead and drive significant change within a rapidly growing software technology company! Based in India, this position will report directly to the Senior Revenue Manager.

What You Will Be Doing:- Collaborate in leading the complete revenue closing cycle to ensure the timely achievement of the close timeline, and addressing issues as they arise
- Coordinate revenue closing schedules with IT, G/L, and FP&A Teams
- Find opportunities for process enhancement and improving existing processes.
- Be a key contributor to the month-end revenue close by ensuring precise revenue reporting in RevPro through the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and data validations.
- Collaborate with SOX and Audit teams to test key controls related to revenue
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for RevPro and NetSuite
- Coach and grow other Revenue team members
- Help with ad hoc projects and collaborate with colleagues on a variety of initiatives as Elastic continues to scale
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or finance. CPA or progress towards CPA certification preferred.
- Experience in RevPro and NetSuite
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, coupled with excellent data handling skills.
- Good organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- The ability to simplify complex information
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
- Comfortable working independently in a distributed, dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with software and SaaS revenue recognition principles under ASC 606 guidance under US GAAP
- An optimistic demeanor coupled with a proactive problem-solving attitude, retaining composure in difficult circumstances.
- Presentation skills and a willingness to enhance them through continuous growth and development
- Previous experience in a publicly traded technology company is highly desirable
