Rider Partnerships Manager (Mat Cover)
This is a 12-month maternity cover contract.
The Role
As Rider Content & Partnerships Manager you'll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and launching rider partnerships, and retaining existing partners. You will lead in managing our UK & Ireland rider communication channels, and building our content & partnerships strategy.
You and your team will measure the effectiveness of partnerships, comms and social campaigns and always looking for ways to improve engagement rates and ensure that our approach and strategy support riders. You will report to the Head of Content & Engagement and this is a hybrid opportunity (3 days a week in the office) based in London.
What you'll do
- Work with senior team members and the current Partnerships and Content Associates to build a strategy for rider content and partnerships in the UK and Ireland
- Oversee daily tasks such as partnership operations, utilisation, relationship maintenance, and building educational comms for riders
- Manage all UKI operational communications to Riders
- Monitor the impact of rider partnerships- including the impact on rider sentiment, cost savings for riders & impact on Deliveroo operational metrics
- Monitor the impact of rider content - including increasing engagement (open rates, click-throughs) across all communications, including digital and social channels
- Establish digital engagement campaigns and competitions
- Be the subject matter expert internally for UK&I Partnerships & Content
- Develop 'newsworthy' stories, utilising rider insights, to engage with our rider community
- Build, coach and manage a team that is engaged and inclusive
- Create playbooks and templates for Content and Partnerships to ensure operational excellence and for other markets to utilise
- Identify new partner opportunities which have a clear benefit for riders & Deliveroo
- Lead negotiations with major UKI rider partners
- Identify areas of improvement to our existing comms and CRM lifecycle
- Approve all rider comms to ensure accuracy, tone, and compliance
Requirements
- Be creative
- 1+ years of experience with a CRM platform (ideally Braze)
- Stakeholder management skills - experience negotiating large-scale contracts and getting support from senior management from across the business
- Strong command of written and spoken English, as well as tone of voice
- Strong people management skills - to support, develop and coach your direct reports
- Strong business acumen- knowledge of what good looks like for riders and awareness of the kinds of partnerships they may benefit from
