As a member of our Risk team, you will play a key role in working to mitigate risk associated with money movement with the goal of protecting the customer as well as Payoneer. The Risk Analyst performs analyses and investigations, draws insights and conclusions based on data and user behavior, communicates findings, and collaborates closely with cross functional teams and external partners and clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform risk investigations and analyses and provide status updates to stakeholders
  • Draw conclusions and communicate insights based on multiple data sets and user behavior 
  • Track incoming alerts related to suspicious activity and ensure resolution
  • Monitor fraud trends and identify recurring patterns of suspicious activity on accounts 
  • Provide detailed summaries of actions taken and rationale 
  • Liaise with account managers and enterprise clients
  • Assist with various risk related tasks as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in online risk, fraud prevention, online payments, e-commerce or a related field
  • Experience with identification and analysis of trends and patterns
  • Detail oriented, collaborative, and communicative with a positive attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional proficiency in English - any additional language fluency is a plus

***This role will be based in our New York, NY office 2+ days per week***

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

The annual base salary range for this position is: $50,000 - $100,000.
