Robotics Engineer for Real Time Control and Testing (m/f/d)
Your Mission
We are in search of a Robotics Engineer for real time control and testing (m/f/d), with the drive to create the best robotic hardware and software platform in order to make RobCo become the category-leading SMB automation company in Europe. We’ve raised €39M from the world’s best VCs, such as Lightspeed, Sequoia, Kindred, and Promus and top-notch angel investors such as Daniel Dines and Christian Reber to achieve our vision.
- Help us build our RobCo software platform to enable Robotics for everyone!
- Your main areas of responsibility: Developing and testing robotic real time control software and buildig and programming test setups to measure robot performence.
- As part of our team, you will develop and take care of:
- Real time control software for the robot in C++
- Production provisioning tools for ramping up deployment
- Software stack and pipeline of the control code
- Test development and execution for robot control, certification, and safety
- Structured way of working to transform requirements into real-world solutions
- Solution-focused, customer-focused, pragmatic mindset
- Very good experience in Python and C++ programming
- Proficient experience with Linux
- Knowledge in robotics, control theory or real time systems
- Basic knowledge in electrics and electronics and measuring equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
- Additional knowledge in functional safety, electric circuit design, cad design, industrial bus systems is beneficial
- Fluent in English, preferably German as well
