The Team & Role

The SaaS Operation Team is located in Chennai, India and is a part of the broader Corporate Operations IT Team. The team is responsible for the active management of all SaaS operations tools used within the Corporate Operations division. We are looking for a SaaS Operation developer to be part of the team that is a self-starter that thrives in a fast-moving environment with a passions for solving customers problems using cutting-edge technologies

As a SaaS Operation developer,  you have a deep knowledge of SaaS operations solutions and be able to maintain the SaaS application design and compliance of the tool. The ideal candidate must be a creative, self-motivated individual who truly invests in our culture while leveraging their documented experience supporting SaaS operation tools to ensure business continuity and operational excellence.

This position is based in Chennai, India. The expectation is that you will be in the office a minimum of three days a week while occasionally getting together with your team for office visits, events, or offsites. Of course, you’re welcome to come into the office more often if you’re nearby. 

What you’ll do

  • Analyzing customers’ needs and turning them into future application design
  • Ensuring the platform’s security reliability and scalability
  • Be able to debug and improve the code for efficiency
  • Conducting maintenance on the SaaS applications
  • Develop and maintain Restful APIs
  • Code review 
  • Collaborate in the planning, design and delivery of software products and services
  • Problem Solving skills to understand customer and technical problems.
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technology and the potential application
  • Work with Service desk and customer to help troubleshoot technical customer problems.
  • Delivery of client projects on time
  • Take initiative to ensure a high quality of work
  • Collaborate and work closely with other team members on workflow design of the application

Your experience

  • Bachelor’s degree  in Computer Science and 5  years of experience or combination of education and/or experience
  • 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and customizing SaaS applications
  • 4+ years in the following languages: Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, ASP.net
  • Experienced with working with Amazon AWS cloud platform
  • Solid knowledge about relational databases
  • Experience with source code control and issues/defect tracking systems.
  • Excellent problem solving, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
