The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

The role is primarily office based, based in our German offices in either Munich or Berlin.

Join our dynamic Sales team at Personio and be part of the transformation of how people experience work in Switzerland. 

As a Sales Development Representative, you play a pivotal role in developing our sales pipeline, working closely with the Account Executive, Marketing, and Partnership teams.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • First Impressions Matter: You will be the initial point of contact for potential customers, utilizing your active, confident, and friendly communication style to establish relationships with decision-makers.

  • Solution-oriented approach: Act as a consultant to potential Swiss customers, identify their current challenges and help them to understand how Personio can support them working better in the future.

  • Proactive lead generation: You'll proactively research and identify new customers, developing personalized sales strategies for outbound lead generation to drive our expansion in the Swiss market.

  • Team Collaboration: Be an integral part of a motivated and ambitious team, sharing best practices and providing support to your Sales Development and Account Executive teammates.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Market Insight: An interest in the Swiss market, preferably with prior experience or familiarity with the Swiss dialect.

  • Sales Acumen: Previous exposure to Sales, particularly in a B2B context, such as internships or working student roles in Sales, event management, or the hospitality industry.

  • Tech Enthusiasm: A genuine enthusiasm for software products and the ability to effectively work with them.

  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken German (C2 level) and English (B1+ level), as well as proficiency in the Swiss dialect.

  • Educational Background: Ideally, you hold a degree in Economics, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field, although relevant work experience is equally valuable.
