Role Description

As a Sales Finance Manager, you will be a key partner to our Sales and Channel Teams at Dropbox. You will play a crucial role in areas such as ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), forecasting, planning, measuring the success of strategic initiatives, driving analytical insights, deal structuring and approvals, and evaluating resource investments. Your work will play a crucial part in ensuring Dropbox makes sound financial and strategic decisions that drive sustainable business growth. You will be plugged into every facet of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Run financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities for the Sales and Channel Teams
  • Conduct advanced analytics, delivering impactful and actionable insights that drive decision making
  • Engaged with Sales teams on deal structuring and approvals
  • Drive ARR planning for Sales, including Sales capacity planning, driver based ARR modeling, and short and long range plans
  • Run monthly spend reviews and variance analysis
  • Collaborate with business partners in Sales, Sales Strategy, and Finance on additional ad hoc reporting as needed
Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant FP&A or Sales Finance experience in a fast growing tech environment preferred
  • Undergraduate degree required, along with knowledge of GAAP and understanding of financial statements
  • Knowledge of Software or SaaS industry preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Oracle systems preferred
  • Proficiency in modeling and analytics
  • Strong quantitative organizational and communication skills
  • You sweat the details and maintain a high level of integrity in your work
  • Self starter who enthusiastically drives projects
  • You’re able to build positive relationships with business partners
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle (Smartview/Essbase) and Snowflake
  • Prior experience reviewing deals and structuring them
  • Experience with financial modeling

"Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation.  We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):• US Zone 1: $143,800 - $169,200 - $194,600.• US Zone 2: $129,500 - $152,300 - $175,100.• US Zone 3: $115,100 - $135,400 - $155,700. Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro) and Washington DC metro• US Zone 3: All other US locations
