Role Description The Sales team plays a pivotal role in driving the acquisition, expansion, and retention of customers for the business. This involves navigating high-complexity deals using a combination of inbound leads, new customer prospecting, and value-based expansion and retention conversations.   As a Sales Intern, you will support the sales team through various activities and workflows. This includes contributing to top-of-funnel sales and marketing campaigns, conducting Account Research and Account Planning, compiling call lists, and engaging in cold calling. Additionally, you will work on refining Gong call libraries and contribute to operational projects aimed at enhancing Salesforce Data Quality.   Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in these key sales functions, honing your skills in lead generation, market research, and effective communication. This exposure will provide valuable insights into the dynamic world of sales while contributing to the overall success of our team.   We'll collaborate with you to align with your school's schedule, ensuring a 12-week internship duration. Responsibilities
  • Support Sales Activities: Assist the sales team with various tasks and workflows. Contribute to top-of-funnel sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Research and Planning: Conduct account research and contribute to account planning efforts.
  • Lead Generation: Build call lists for outreach and cold calling.
  • Operational Projects: Work on projects to enhance Salesforce data quality.
  • Call Library and Outreach Management Contribute to refining call libraries for continuous improvement. Refine campaign and messaging sequences in Outreach.
  • Relationship Building: Actively identify and build relationships with key individuals in target organizations.
  • Value Proposition Communication: Aid in communicating the value that Dropbox offers to target businesses.
  • Hands-on Experience: Gain practical, hands-on experience in key sales functions.
  • Skill Development: Hone skills related to lead generation, market research, and effective communication.
  • Contribute to Team Success: Play a crucial role in contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
Requirements
  • BA or BS degree graduating in 2026 
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships
  • Proactive and self-motivated to take on responsibilities and task 
  • Attested resilience in a fast-paced, challenging environment 
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies
  • Eager and capable working in a Virtual First environment 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Desire to work in sales

US: The expected salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) rate for the role is $5,000/month, subject to change. Dropbox is a Virtual First company and is open to hiring candidates across the U.S. However, for this role, the locations posted are preferred.
