As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Salesforce Billing Specialist.

The Salesforce Billing Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the billing and invoicing processes within the Salesforce platform. This role involves configuring, customizing, and maintaining the billing functionalities of Salesforce as well as Revenue Recognition functionalities of RightRev to ensure accurate and efficient operations. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement changes, and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce Billing and RightRev Revenue Recognition.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Configure and customize the Salesforce Billing module to align with the company's billing processes and pricing structures.
  • Configure and customize the RightRev module to align with the company's revenue recognition processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand billing and rev rec requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce and RightRev.
  • Define and set up Invoice Schedules, billing rules, products, pricing bundles, and subscription plans within Salesforce.
  • Design and implement automated workflows for generating invoices, processing payments, and managing billing schedules.
  • Utilize Apex programming and Salesforce Process Builder to create custom billing automation solutions
  • Integrate Salesforce Billing with other systems such as financial systems, and payment gateways.
  • Ensure data integrity by managing customer accounts, subscription details, and billing records.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to billing calculations, invoicing, and subscription management.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 3 to 5 Years in Salesforce administration, with a focus on Salesforce Billing.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification and additional certifications related to billing or commerce platforms are preferred.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
  • In-depth understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition, and pricing models.
  • Experience with Apex programming, Visualforce, or Lightning components is a plus.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues and devise solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project management skills to coordinate system enhancements and upgrades.
