The role

This position is a day rate contract role that will last for 3 months.

As our Salesforce Consultant Developer, you will improve the integrity and strength of our internal Salesforce solutions. You’ll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and internal clients. You have a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders; and the skills to deliver solutions and help grow experience within the team to do the same.

Your first task will be to review our CPQ instance and offer recommendations for improvements and follow up on those with practical build. Your second task will be to work with our internal Pricing team and understand their requirements for new products and amendments to the existing catalog.

What excites you 
  • Collaborating with the Commercial organisation to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits), and delivering those changes,
  • Custom User Interface development using all aspects of Salesforce configuration
  • Best Practices: adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development,
  • Helping grow knowledge and best practice within the team and the wider business,
What excites us  
  • Strong Salesforce CPQ experience, including product catalogue build, pricing strategies, product and pricing rules,
  • Experience in all core elements of Salesforce Sales Cloud configuration,
  • A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code and configuration into best practices,
  • Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications,
  • Soft skills: the ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders,
  • A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams.
