Our Databricks IT Applications Team is looking for a Salesforce Developer to manage our Salesforce CPQ platform and be a strategic partner in using this system across the business. You will guide the process for design, test, build and implementation of Salesforce CPQ. Additionally you will have your chance to help guide the business in process enhancement and work on future implementation needs. We want someone passionate about using Salesforce to increase success and value across the business. We want someone who is excited about being a crucial part of a high-growth company with an incredible product. You will have skills with a background in Salesforce development, configuration, and governance. standardization. You will report to the Manager of Business Systems.

The impact you will have:

Design/Strategy: Build platform functionality on the Salesforce platform including the way Salesforce works with and is used by other important business systems.

Collaboration: You will partner with the CPQ team and the business partners for helping design & implement CPQ solutions based on our business needs.

Analytics: You will play an analytical role in quickly and thoroughly analyzing requirements for reporting and subsequently translating the emanating results into good technical data designs, implementing the solutions with high quality and scalability in mind.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience with at least one full implementation of Salesforce/Steelbrick CPQ
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, including its features, configurations, and limitations.
  • Ability to configure complex pricing rules, product bundles, discount schedules, and quote templates within Salesforce CPQ.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform concepts and development (Apex & Javascript languages, controllers, triggers, configuration, LWC, salesforce flows, batch processes, Lightning, SOQL, REST APIs and web services).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand requirements, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle processes including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging using Metadata API, Git or other SCM tools and code coverage.
  • Best Practices understanding on Coding Standards, Deployment and enforcing Governor limits.
  • Preferably with Salesforce CPQ certifications.
