Take the lead as our SAP Development Lead and play a critical role in shaping innovative solutions within our growing SAP team. You will guide development efforts, ensuring high-quality delivery of SAP solutions, including custom ABAP development and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). This role requires a hands-on expert with deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proven ability to collaborate across teams. You will be a key link working between our business and India-based development team. SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
- Provide technical expertise in SAP development, including ABAP programming, Fiori/UI5, and other SAP technologies. Lead complex development initiatives and ensure best practices are followed.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and sustainable SAP solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy custom SAP enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and workflows (RICEFW).
- Ensure the quality, performance, and maintainability of all development efforts by conducting code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and optimizing performance.
- Partner with functional teams, business analysts, and project managers to ensure seamless integration and alignment of technical solutions with business needs.
- Lead development activities related to SAP system upgrades, enhancement packs, and new module implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, testing plans, and user guides.
- Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 8+ years of experience in SAP development, with a strong focus on ABAP programming, Fiori/UI5, and SAP integration tools (IDocs, BAPIs, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FI, SD, MM, PP) and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA. Proficiency in modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData services, OOABAP, Interfaces, Enhancement and BTP RAP.
- Proven track record in leading development for large-scale SAP implementations and upgrades.
- Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferably SAP certification(s) in development or technical areas.
- Familiarity with integrating SAP systems with third-party applications.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $143,000 – $215,000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
