About the Team

The Security team at Crunchyroll is responsible for partnering with teams across the company to . We collaborate extensively with a diverse network of device, payment, and gaming partners to broaden the reach of Crunchyroll's offerings. Our primary objective is to drive growth, open up new acquisition channels, and optimize both the scope and quality of our services. Situated at the crossroads of technology and business, we are dedicated to continually enabling experiences that delights our fans. You will report into our Director of Security.

About You:

• You have 5+ years of experience in Information Security or Information Technology 
• You have experience as an administrator for security platforms and tools
• You have experience with IAM best practices and administration
• You have a strong fundamental understanding of security best practices
• You are willing and able to adapt to new technologies and concepts quickly and apply that knowledge effectively
• You are data driven with a high focus on detail
• You have the ability to communicate complex issues to a wide audience, from technical staff to management
• You have demonstrated experience maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of an organization and with a variety of external constituents
• You are curious and want to grow in a dynamic, security-focused environment 

Pluses:

• You have security certification(s)
• You have experience in Security Operations or other relevant security focuses
• You have knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA
• You have experience with cloud environments such as GCP or AWS
• You have a BS in Computer Science or a related or have equivalent experience

A Day in the Life:

• Working with a focus to level-up security at Crunchyroll
• Partner with teams across the company to monitor and implement security standards
• Supporting and improving processes related to the Vulnerability Management Program
• Investigating and researching proactive security measures
• Investigating security events and system logs across the environment
• Supporting the GRC and Privacy Programs as needed
• Staying up to date on technology trends and security best practices
• Supporting our team and improving internal processes
• Creating reports and documentation to support the security program
• Approaching each day with a focus on fostering an environment encouraging growth personally, professionally, and for those around you.
