Job Description
As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in proactively strengthen TriNet’s security posture by harnessing the power of automation and innovative tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement, enhance, manage, and monitor security tools and their capabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, excellent technical skills, and a proactive approach to security.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities Design, deploy and maintain Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms to streamline and automate incident response processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop customized playbooks, workflows, and automation scripts tailored to organizational needs. Conduct continuous analysis of security operations processes and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement. Monitor the performance and effectiveness of SOAR workflows and playbooks, making adjustment as necessary to ensure optimal incident response capabilities. Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to proactively improve the organization’s security posture. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials related to SOAR operations. Works to achieve first touch resolution with all issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
JOB REQUIRMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, cyber security, or related fieldTraining Requirements (Licenses, Programs, Or Certificates) Certification in one or more of the following areas is desired but not required: Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
